May 10th, 2006: Ethea at the Delphi Day 2006
We will be participating in the DelphiDay 2006 to be held next June, 9th in Piacenza (PC). Nando Dessena will be giving a session about "Metadata-based programming", we will show our forthcoming EDW framework for Database and Data Warehouse applications, and we will be there with several other members of our staff. All sessions are in italian.
January 20th, 2005: Ethea becomes Borland Technology Partner
Ethea has become a Borland Technology Partner. This guarantees that Ethea's products will support the latest Borland technologies. The partnership agreement, which covers both the InstantSolutionsframework and the InstantObjects project, will allow Ethea to fully integrate its products with the latest versions of Borland's development tools.
November 12th, 2005: InstantSolutions Framework 3.5 for InstantObjects 2 and OpenOffice.org 2 released
The new 3.5 release of the integrated development suite InstantSolutions Framework is available to companies already using ISF and people wishing to know more about it. Among the many new features, ISF 3.5 adds support for OpenOffice.org 2.0 (and the new OpenDocument file format) and integrates with InstantObjects 2.0, which provides better performance and stability.
October 31st, 2005: Basket Scoring now supports OpenOffice.org
By leveraging the experience of Sport Club Manager, Ethea has been able to add OpenOffice.org support to Basket Scoring. Thus, you can now ask the Basket Scoring team to provide automatic creation of custom reports and documents.
September 30th, 2005: Basket Scoring 3.0, with the new shoot-maps, is released
The new version 3.0 of Basket Scoring (both Standard and Pro edition) is available. BS 3.0 features the new shoot-maps: with a single mouse click you can now indicate the exact position of each shoot in the field.
Basket Scoring 3.0 can also produce an HTML page with all the statistics for all players and the shoot-maps (this last option is available to registered users only).
We have also restructured the way Basket Scoring stores game events: now the complete chronology is stored (together with the shoot-map data, of course), which will allow any kind of analysis and comparison.
It is still possible to load a match saved by Basket Scoring 2.x, but it will not contain the chronology and the shoot-maps.
June, 20th 2005: InstantBDExpress, the technology to convert BDE applications to dbExpress, is available
At the Delphi Day 2005 Carlo Barazzetta of Ethea has shown a set of Delphi
components that allow the conversion of BDE-based applications to Borland's
dbExpress. This library, called InstantBDExpress, is now available to anyone
who wishes to port BDE applications to dbExpress, together with Ethea's
qualified consultancy services.
